What You Can Raise
You may contact the Grievance Officer regarding:
- Unlawful or fraudulent content — listings, profiles, job postings, or events that are fake, misleading, scams (including "pay-to-audition" fraud), defamatory, obscene, or that infringe your rights.
- Misuse of your contact information published in a listing.
- Data-protection grievances — concerns about how your personal data is collected, used, or displayed, or to exercise your rights under the DPDP Act (access, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent).
- Impersonation — someone has created a listing or profile using your identity or details without consent.
- Any other complaint about your use of the Platform.
How to File a Grievance
Send an email to grievance@cinetalentindia.com including:
- Your name and contact details.
- A clear description of the grievance.
- The URL(s) or identifier(s) of the listing, profile, or content in question (if applicable).
- Any supporting evidence (screenshots, references).
- A statement that the information provided is accurate.
For impersonation or data-protection grievances, we may request verification of your identity before acting.
Our Timelines
In line with applicable law:
- We will acknowledge your grievance within 24 hours of receipt.
- We will resolve your grievance within 15 days of receipt.
- For requests to remove content that is unlawful (including content exposing private information or impersonation), we will act as expeditiously as possible and within the timeframes prescribed by law.
Reporting Fraudulent Listings — Important
CineTalentIndia is a discovery and listing platform and is not involved in any dealing, payment, audition, casting, hiring, or transaction between users. We do not verify or endorse listings. However, we take fraud seriously. If you encounter a fraudulent casting call, fake recruiter, scam opportunity, or any request for money in connection with a listing, please report it to us immediately and do not send money to anyone. We will review and remove violating content.
Escalation
If you are not satisfied with the resolution provided by the Grievance Officer, you may pursue remedies available to you under applicable law, including approaching the Data Protection Board of India (for data-protection matters) once constituted, or the appropriate authority or court.
